Be Bold And Do Not Wear White!
Your day has finally arrived and you are getting married, so the most important thing has to be decided; what is your wedding dress going to look like? You will then find yourself considering if you want to be traditional and go for a white wedding dress, or whether you want to break convention and pick a colour to walk down the isle in.
Of course the easiest non-white option is cream wedding dresses. By wearing cream you are not a startling white but more a vintage white. Ivory is perhaps a better word to describe cream wedding dresses as you can then envisage a multitude of things that would go with ivory. For example your name cards could be trimmed with vintage ivory lace and your flowers could be in a colour range from white through to a pale yellow. Ivory or cream wedding dresses are also great to add a flash of a different colour to, for example the ribbon that ties up the bodice could be burnt orange, or a delicate pink. No colour looks out of place next to cream.

You can have a subtle tone of pink that in some lights looks pink and in others looks off white. You can then emphasize the pink by accessorizing the wedding with pink. Pink flowers, pink name cards and even a pink cake, or you can just keep the only hint of pink in the dress and have people working out all day whether or not your dress is pink or not!
But of course you can go all out and go for a bold colour nowhere near the white spectrum. You can go red, purple or even black. But try to avoid green as it is considered unlucky by most, except if you are an Irish bride.
